Rudy Diaz
Rudy is the Resident Mycologist of the Los Angeles Mycological Society. He has a research background in evolutionary biology and biostatistics. His past work includes gene expression evolution, origins of genetic novelty, the genetic basis of fungal pathogenicity, the evolution of coca leaves, and the delimitation of lichen species. He is pursuing approaches in immunology informed by evolution.
