Rudy Diaz
Rudy is the Resident Mycologist of the Los Angeles Mycological Society, and has a research background in biostatistics and evolutionary biology, working most recently on issues in gene expression evolution and the genetic basis of fungal pathogenicity at Yale School of Public Health. His earlier scientific interests dealt with species diversity and the evolution of form in plants and fungi, but his current interests encompass processes of molecular self-organization at scales common to all living things.
