There will be a foray to collect specimens for display at the Mushroom Fair.  Time and location for the foray is available on the foray information page.

3:00 PM--9:00 PM Fair Setup at Ayres Hall, Arboretum of Los Angeles County--YOUR help is needed.

2017 LAMS Mushroom Fair Schedule (subject to change!!)

9:45 am Fair opens, people gather in front of Ayres Hall for Mushroom Walk in Arboretum
10:00 am Mushroom Walk in Arboretum led by Florence Nishida
11:30 am Cooking Demonstration with Mario Vollera
1:00 pm Mushroom growing demonstration with Dennis Sharmahd and Eric
2:30 pm Keynote speaker with Dr. Steve Trudell
4:00 pm Mushroom Fair closes


Admission to the Mushroom Fair is free with admission to the Arboretum*

Please note: It is strongly recommended that you plan to arrive at the Arboretum at least 30 minutes before any scheduled event you wish to attend.


Cooking Demonstration

We are pleased to offer a mushroom-themed cooking demonstration by Mario Vollera of South End, an Italian pizza and wine bar in Venice.

*Admission to the Arboretum is $9 for adults, $6 for seniors (62 and over), $6 for students with ID, and $4 for children 5- 12. Children under 5 are admitted free.  Arboretum members are admitted free. Parking is free.
